Blow Style

The Daughters were asked to build a home for a feeling. Blow Style — the at-home line born of Sydney's Blow Bar Co — carried a belief bigger than hair: that the quiet moment before you face the mirror matters as much as anything that follows it. Our task was to design a place on the internet that honoured that moment, in a category that usually skips straight to the sell.

So we built the site as a ritual, not a shop. Where most beauty stores open with a grid and a discount, this one opens with stillness — the moment before you step out the door, the feeling of deciding how you want to carry yourself, the movement you join simply by standing taller. Full-bleed film, a single white wordmark, generous space: design that slows you down on purpose, because confidence isn't rushed. A consistent "The…" language runs through every surface, from the navigation to product names like THE SMOOTH and THE SEAL, so the whole world feels considered, owned, and unmistakably Blow. Commerce lives inside the story rather than on top of it — by the time a guest reaches the cart, they've been moved, not marketed to.

The Daughters were asked to give a body of medical science a home worthy of it. NotoxMD is built on decades of research by Dr Sharad Paul — skin understood not as a surface to correct, but as a living system: sensitive, adaptive, intelligent. Our task was to design a site that carried that intelligence, in a category that usually sells fear and the quick fix.

So we built the experience around respect. The brand doesn't promise to freeze time; it works with the skin's own processes, with structure not force. The design had to do the same — measured, evidence-led, unhurried, letting the science speak without shouting. Where most skincare opens with a before-and-after, this opens with a truth: this is more than skin. It's your body's first boundary, a record of who you are and how you've lived. Every page earns belief before it asks for a sale, translating B.E.S.T. and Skin-Line Technology™ into something a person can actually understand and want.

Hellyers Road Distillery

The Daughters were asked to build a site that felt like the place the whisky comes from. Hellyers Road is born of restless hearts — North-West Tasmanian dairy farmers turned award-winning distillers, named for the surveyor who first mapped that rugged coast in 1825. The brand had a narrative most distilleries would envy, a journey into the unknown, and the website had to carry it rather than reduce it to a product grid.

So we designed the experience as a journey, not a catalogue. Dark, atmospheric, unhurried — the raw, remote, untouched spirit of the place made navigable. Editorial typography and room to breathe let each expression earn its own character while belonging to one confident family, so a visitor moves through the range the way you'd move through the distillery itself: led by story, not shouted at by offers. Commerce sits inside the world rather than on top of it.

Nail Bar Lounge

The Daughters were asked to make a nail salon feel like a fashion house. Nail Bar Lounge had a clear conviction — that a manicure could be designed, not dispensed; a lounge, not a production line — and the site had to carry that the moment it loaded, in a category that usually screams deals and swatches.

So we built the experience around restraint. Full-bleed cinematic imagery, a single elegant wordmark, and generous space that treats the brand the way it treats a set of nails: clean lines, balance, intent. The collections aren't a colour grid — they're Episodes, Atelier Nude to Maison Rosé to Riviera Azure, each with its own mood and named shades, so browsing feels like reading an editorial rather than scanning a price list. A considered menu over endless options, an unhurried scroll that mirrors the unhurried service. The whole site does what the lounge promises: lets you step out of the day and into yourself.

Built on Shopify to open with a waitlist and grow into full booking and retail, it gives a new brand the polish of an established house from day one — proof that polish really can become presence.
