FREEDOM
Home of Design
Director Michael Dole brings Freedom’s Home of Design to life as a cinematic ode to the way considered spaces change how we feel, move and connect. Set in a coastal home carved from concrete, glass and light, the film follows a woman through the quiet rituals of her day – walking barefoot through long corridors of shadow and sun, pausing at windows that open onto the ocean, slipping onto a sofa that seems to hold her exactly where she needs to be. Around her, Freedom pieces anchor each moment: a dining table that gathers hands and shared plates, a lounge that invites her to stretch out and breathe, objects that feel sculptural yet lived in.
Food, flowers and the elements become extensions of the design language – lemons squeezed over a table setting, watermelon split open in a burst of colour, waves crashing against rock as blooms float in rock pools below. Every frame links interior calm to the wildness just beyond the glass, suggesting that good design doesn’t shout, it quietly supports the way you want to live.
Home of Design positions Freedom not just as a furniture retailer, but as the place where Australians can build homes that are thoughtful, beautiful and completely their own.
