In a collaboration with The Avalanches, Artist/Director Jonathan Zawada and Director Michael Dole & The Daughters created We Will Always Love You, a music film that drifts between music video, documentary and motion art to explore the vibrational relationship between light, sound and spirit. Inspired by NASA’s Voyager Golden Record and the love story of Ann Druyan and Carl Sagan, the film traces the idea that a single human heartbeat – recorded the day Druyan said yes to Sagan and now travelling through space for eternity – can become a message of love beyond time. Beginning in the physical and earthly, the work slowly dissolves into the celestial, echoing the record’s journey out past our planet as bodies and landscapes give way to pure colour, signal and ecstatic human moments.

We Will Always Love You becomes a visual hymn to the transcendent nature of music itself: how sound can carry us from uncertainty to liberation, from being bound by gravity to being woven into the fabric of the universe.
