Made of Here

Globally Awarded Creative, Michael Dole created Made of Here for Glassons — built on a simple act of honesty: looking at the women of Australia and New Zealand and describing exactly what was already there. Bold. Fearless. Taking on the world on their own terms and winning. They were never waiting to be discovered. The brand didn't need a story. It needed a flag. She became it.

So the idea refuses to explain itself. One woman. One bull. No apology, no wink, no caption doing the work the image should do. No one telling her what to want or how to be wanted. The image asks nothing of her and offers nothing to her. It just gets out of her way.

The metaphor belongs to her completely. Two tonnes of muscle and fury that cannot be reasoned with, only ridden — and she chose to climb on. That's the part every woman watching understands: nobody put her there. Nobody dared her. She took the most untameable force she could find and made it her seat, because that's what these women have always done with everything the world said was too much for them. The world bucks — the distance, the doubt, every room that underestimates them — and they don't wait for it to settle, don't ask it to be gentler, don't need it to approve. They stay on. Power isn't something she's borrowing for the moment. It's something she brought with her. The bull spends the whole film discovering what she already knew: she doesn't fall.

Then the flag became the territory. Made of Here rewired the business behind it — the collections designed and bought to her, the talent cast by her standard, the stores built around her, the events, the channels, the commerce. The promise was made once, in a single image. The company spent every day after living up to her.

Made of here. Not made up.
